Understanding Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Category:

What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction.

What is Machine Learning?

Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of AI that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. ML algorithms build a mathematical model based on sample data, known as “training data”, in order to make predictions or decisions without being explicitly programmed to perform the task.

What is Deep Learning?

Deep Learning is a subset of ML that uses artificial neural networks to learn complex patterns from large amounts of data. It is inspired by the structure and function of the human brain. Deep learning algorithms can learn features directly from data without the need for manual feature extraction.

What is Generative AI?

Generative AI refers to algorithms that can generate new content, such as images, music, or text, that is similar to the existing data they were trained on. These models can create realistic and high-quality outputs, often indistinguishable from human-created content.
